To assist staff in developing plans and methods to best utilize the Cannery facility.
Scope
The Cannery Advisory Committee makes recommendation to the Board of Supervisors regarding fees. The committee also makes recommendations regarding days and hours of operation and priorities for service consideration based on the resources available. The committee supports the cannery manager at outreach events including the Ashland Strawberry Fair and Basics of Cannery training. Committee members assist the cannery manager during daily operations and special events such as Harvest of Hope as needed.
